DayAnalyzer Privacy Policy
DayAnalyzer is a local-first voice time tracker operated by Koval Systems. This policy describes the current public MVP.
Data processed
- Timeline and category content. Text you enter, voice transcripts, category context, corrections, and generated AI results are sent to our backend and AI providers. Complete AI request and response payloads may be retained in Cloudflare AI Gateway logs to operate, debug, evaluate, and improve AI-assisted features.
- Voice input. When you choose a voice feature, the audio recording is sent for transcription or direct AI request processing. The complete audio-bearing request and provider response may be retained in Cloudflare AI Gateway payload logs. Raw audio is not copied into DayAnalyzer's backend D1 product database or serialized into Worker console logs; AI Gateway logging is a separate remote storage surface.
- Technical data. We process a pseudonymous installation identifier, app and device information, language/timezone, IP address, request metadata, daily app-foreground and backend-action counts, usage-limit counters, diagnostics, and security information.
- Analytics and crash reports. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics collect bounded app interaction, performance, diagnostic, device, and crash information.
Why we process it
We use this information to operate DayAnalyzer, transcribe and interpret requests, return timeline/category suggestions, enforce usage limits, diagnose failures, protect the service, understand MVP usage, and improve default categories, prompts, models, and product behavior.
Service providers
DayAnalyzer uses service providers acting on its behalf, including Cloudflare for backend infrastructure and full AI Gateway payload logging, OpenRouter for AI routing, OpenAI for transcription and remaining AI processing, Mistral for primary text AI processing, Google Gemini through Vertex AI or Google AI Studio for secondary/direct AI processing, and Google Firebase for analytics and crash diagnostics. Data may be processed in countries where these providers operate. We do not sell personal data or use diary content for third-party advertising.
Local data and accounts
DayAnalyzer does not currently provide user accounts or cloud timeline sync. The canonical timeline database stays on the device. Clearing the app's storage removes local app data, but does not automatically remove remote diagnostic, request, analytics, or provider records.
Retention and requests
Information is retained as reasonably useful for operating, troubleshooting, protecting, evaluating, and improving the MVP, or as required by service providers or law. Cloudflare AI Gateway does not publish a fixed time-based deletion period for these payload logs; they may remain until manually deleted or displaced under Cloudflare storage limits. Selected paid Google routes do not use submitted content to improve general models under the applicable provider terms, but they are not zero-retention routes and some Google processing may retain request context and outputs for abuse prevention and security. Other provider security, billing, and legal records may have different retention. DayAnalyzer does not promise a fixed deletion period for the MVP.
You may contact us with privacy questions or requests. Because DayAnalyzer has no user accounts, our ability to identify a particular remote record may be limited.
Security
DayAnalyzer uses encrypted HTTPS transport and limits backend access to operationally required systems and credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or its data handling changes. The current version will remain available at this URL with an updated date.
